
Stipends
Nevada Public Health Foundation, Inc. (NPHF) is promoting workforce development through Clinical Social Work Supervisor and Intern Stipends. This funding is designed to help alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with your training, allowing you to focus on gaining the experience and skills needed for licensure.
Eligibility
Onsite Supervisor
Onsite Supervisors who provide administrative assistance and direct oversight to an eligible intern who has a Board-approved clinical supervisor may be eligible to receive an annual stipend of up to $2,500 annually.
Eligibility Criteria Include:
- Must be providing services in rural or frontier communities.
- Must be a board-approved LCSW, APRN, MD, PhD, MFT, or CPC
- Must be the onsite supervisor for a Board-approved clinical social work intern/s providing services in rural or frontier communities.
Clinical Supervisor
Clinical supervisors who provide new internship opportunities that align with the program’s goals may be eligible to receive an annual stipend of up to $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria Include:
- Must be a Board-approved clinical social work supervisor.
- Must be supervising a Board-approved clinical social work intern providing services in rural or frontier communities.
Clinical Interns
Clinical interns working in rural and frontier communities who align with the program’s objectives may qualify for an annual stipend of up to $1330 per year.
Eligibility Criteria Include:
- Must be interning under a Board-approved clinical social work supervisor/placement site.
- Must be interning in rural or frontier communities.
